The School Day

Children and families are asked to arrive no later than 8.50am

Children arriving via the school bus will be escorted by a member of staff from the bus to the playground (information/procedures relating to the bus are available upon request from the school office.)

Staff are available from 8.40am for brief discussions regarding daily changes but parents/carers are asked to book an appointment if they wish to discuss their child in greater detail. We have a 'safe open door' policy where staff are very happy to hold parent/carer meetings as the need arises, not just termly at Parents/Carers' Evenings.

8.45am                  Children enter school via the playground door to go to registration

8.45   - 9.00am      Morning registration/independent task

9.00   - 9.30am      Worship- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Friday is class worship/PHSE at 2.30pm)

9.30   - 10.30am    Lesson 1

10.30 - 11.00am    Morning break (infants 10.30 - 10.45am, juniors 10.45 - 11.00am)

10.45 - 11.10am    Phonics/Spellings

11.10 - 12.15pm    Lesson 2

12.15 - 1.15pm      Lunch

1.15pm                    Afternoon registration

1.15  - 2.20pm        Lesson 3 

2.20  - 3.10pm        Lesson 4
