House Groups

The four school house groups are named after significant former pupils of Kirkland C of E Primary School:

Mr William Cape - the first pupil on the school role.

Sir Edward Frankland KCB, FRS FRSE - a famous British chemist.

Mr William Gaskell BEM - was instrumental in the building of the flood defences along the River Wyre in Churchtown.

Mr Edward Moon - funded the building of the new school building in 1812.

House Point Cup Winners

Awarded to the house with the highest average pupil score at the end of the year.
