Mission Statement & Aims

A Christian family who encourage and equip one another to soar...

Our school ethos is centred around 3 main aims for the children:

  • To ensure they become successful learners, who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve.

  • To nurture individuals to help them lead safe, healthy and happy lives.

  • To understand and live out the Christian values to ensure individuals make a positive contribution to our community and society.

The very best holistic education is the aim for every child, every day with God as our guide.

To achieve our goals our school aims to:

  • Serve its community providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning of faith, promoting Christian values and attitudes through the experience it offers to all within the school family.

  • Develop children’s understanding, involvement and ownership of how they learn.

  • Provide a rich, creative and challenging curriculum with meaningful learning for all.

  • Provide appropriate learning opportunities for all children regardless of gender, race, faith, ability or social difference.

  • Provide a safe environment where competence and confidence can grow through exploration and access.

  • Expand children’s vision to look beyond themselves into the wider world, locally, nationally and internationally.

  • Empower and enthuse all staff and Governors to have high aspirations for themselves, the children and the wider school community.

  • Develop child and adult leaders in managing and leading whole school development.

  • Support all families in engaging with the purpose and ethos of our school.
