Welcome to Robins (Year R & Year 1)
Our exciting topic for the Spring Term is...
To find out about the fun learning in Robins this term please look at the Curriculum Newsletters.
On Tuesday 15th January 2019 something very special came to our school. When we arrived at school a giant black dome was in our school hall! We had to wait until after break to go inside it.
When it was finally our turn, we were very excited! We went inside the dome and had to sit down. It was very dark and the man asked us to watch the side of the dome. Then some pictures of astronauts, space rockets and the space station were projected onto it. We looked at all the planets, the sun and the moon. We had a really good time in the dome!
Mrs Hilton-Briggs took lots of photographs to show you.
Take a look at them below.
R.E. in Robins
This half term our theme is 'Special Times'.
We have lots of fun when we do P.E.
Each Wednesday afternoon Mrs Hilton-Briggs is joined by Jack from Fleetwood Town. It is a really fun P.E. session where we have lots of exercise and learn lots of new skills.
Just a little reminder that all Reception children need a pair of wellies in school. We change into them, particularly at this time of year, for playing in the Outdoor Area.
